Three months. That's how long most couples wait before telling the outside world they're expecting. Before then, there's a pretty good chance things will go wrong and you'll lose the baby. Dr. Laure Dombrecht is a researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel & Ghent University and advocates for more openness about pregnancy loss.
