We are delighted to invite you to the inaugural lecture of the ERC project TRAJECT of Lara Pivodic and her project team, taking place on June 2 at 5:00 PM at the VUB Health Campus in Jette (Brussels), Auditorium Velkeniers.
TRAJECT explores end-of-life trajectories of older adults with chronic conditions through a large-scale longitudinal mixed-methods study.
The lecture will be introduced by Vice-Rector Research, Prof. Pieter Ballon.
Our team will then present for about 45 minutes, followed by a Q&A and a reception at 6:00 PM.
The TRAJECT project has been running for about 2.5 years now, and we’ve included around 100 patients since April 2025. Recruitment will continue until the end of 2027, but we’re already excited to share some first findings. These include baseline data, first longitudinal insights into how well-being fluctuates over time, reflections on the feasibility of longitudinal research at the end of life, and deeper insights from our qualitative study.
The event is free, but we’d appreciate it if you register in advance so we can plan the reception.
