Webinar Series Innovative Research Methods in Palliative Care and End-of-Life Research
What will I bring?
While numbers alone cannot explain why results occur, stories alone cannot show how many people benefited or to what extent. Impact evaluation is key in determining how much observed change can be attributed to an intervention.
We propose an impact evaluation framework built on seven central tenets:
- Program theory / ToC
- Stakeholder engagement
- Mixed-method indicators
- Validation and co-creation
- Baseline assessment
- Midline assessment
- Endline assessment
Addressing the diverse needs of clients in oncology involves embedding these seven tenets at every stage of engagement.
