Sabet Van Steenbergen

Bachelor Social Work, MSc - Clinical Psychology, MSc Human Resources Management 

Sabet Van Steenbergen (1992) obtained a bachelor's degree in Social Work (Artevelde Hogeschool, 2013), a master's degree in Clinical Psychology (Ghent University, 2017) and an advanced master's degree in Human Resources Management (Antwerp Management School, 2018). After graduating, she gained work experience in research (theoretical and practical), the profit sector and the non-profit sector. In September 2021, she joined the End-of-Life Care Research Group as a researcher. Sabet participates in research about the vision and experiences of professionals working in prisons regarding the theme of palliative and end-of-life care in Belgian prisons. In addition, she also conducts research about the vision of stakeholders on a hospice embedded in the neighbourhood.
