Ruth has been leading a team in palliative home care for 20 years.  She is a process supervisor and was, among other things, transition coach for the reform of primary healthcare in Flanders. As project manager, in collaboration with the VUB, she guided Bruges and Herzele in their journey towards compassionate city and community. She has extensive experience as a coach and mentor of boards and executives and is author of the book 'Dealing with change in the healthcare sector' (‘Omgaan met verandering in de zorgsector. Van management naar gedeeld leiderschap’). From management to shared leadership'. Ruth loves connecting people and worlds; such as the world of healthcare, welfare and public administration.
