Lore Lapeire

MD, PhD - Medical Oncologist

Lore Lapeire (°1979) is a medical oncologist at Ghent University Hospital. In 2015, she obtained a PhD in Medical Sciences and since then, she works as a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University. She is a LEIFellow, meaning that she has followed the training for LEIFarts and the PALM-education (courses for physicians, both focusing on the different aspects of end-of-life care). In 2018, she joined the end-of-life-care research team where she is a strong believer of early integration of palliative care in the disease course of oncologic patients.
