Inne Snijers obtained a bachelor (2008) and master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy (2010) and a master's degree in Sexology (2021) at KU Leuven. She has over a decade of work experience in a medical center, her own private practice, and acute and residential elderly care. Subsequently, she spend almost 3 years researching elder mistreatment and the health of elderly detainees. In june 2024, she joined the End-of-Life Care Research Group, where she focuses on the development and implementation of the Care Programme for the Last Days of Life in Nursing Homes.
