Satisfaction of general practitioners about cooperation
Abstract project
Background and aim
In Belgium, palliative home care teams can be involved for advice on palliative homecare on request of the attending general practitioners. Good cooperation between the GP and the team is extremely important. The daily practice however shows that this cooperation does not always go smoothly. In this study, we want to investigate the satisfaction of general practitioners about this cooperation and to uncover possible obstacles in this collaboration.
Methods
We investigated this cooperation in the region Brussel-Halle-Vilvoorde in Flanders via a postal questionnaire (jan-febr 2010) to all GPs in the region.
