Bert Quintiens holds a background in nursing and worked for several years as a nurse and as a clinical trial coordinator. He has a Master of Science in Healthcare Management and Policy. From May 2019 onwards he works as a doctoral candidate at the CAPACITY project under supervision of professor Joachim Cohen and professor Tinne Smets. His research revolves around the development and evaluation of Belgium’s first compassionate cities.
