Aileen Van Gyseghem graduated in 2023 as a Master in Biochemistry & Biotechnology at the University of Antwerp. In 2024, she completed an advanced master's program in Bioethics at the KU Leuven. In December 2024, she joined the End-Of-Life Care Research Group as a doctoral researcher. Her PhD research is part of the CONNECT-project. Her research aims to implement and evaluate a person- and family-centered social connector program for people with serious illness and their family carers.
